The Officers and Directors
of Piedmont Shag Association, along with the general membership, extend you an invitation to become a member of our club.
Membership is available to anyone 21 years of age or older.
We are dedicated and operated exclusively for non-profit purposes. Our main objective
is to promote shagging, beach music, and conviviality among our members. The annual dues and benefits of being a PSA member are listed below. Why not download an application and join us?

– June): $15 member fee + $5 initiation fee = $20

Member (July - December): Prorated @ $1.25 per remaining month
+ $5.00 initiation fee (example: If you join in Sept, 4 months @ $1.25 + $5 initiation fee = $10

Renew membership: $15 member fee (by March
1st)

& Exceptions:

If you were a member last year and do not renew your membership by the March 1st re-up date, you will
be required to pay the $5 initiation fee along with the regular membership fee. Basically... join as a new member.

Discounts are normally given
to new members at the annual January re-up party. Discount amount will be set by the current PSA board.

Are you coming to PSA through a class
taken from a PSA member shag dance instructor? If so..ask your instructor about a PSA membership discount!

All memberships expire on December 31st.
Name Tags for New Members
When you become a member of PSA, our membership chairperson orders
a PSA name tag for you with your name on it that you are ‘required’ to wear at PSA Business Meetings. Members
who attend our Business Meetings and don’t wear their badges are fined $.25 by Shag Bird! If you’re a new PSA
Member, but don’t have your PSA name tag, please come to our next business meeting and pick it up from the membership
chairperson! Attending our business meetings is a great way for all of us to get to know each other better & the name
tags help those of us who aren’t as good as Kenny Greene at remembering everybody’s name!
