Piedmont Shag Association was founded in May 1986, incorporated
as a non-profit corporation on April 18, 1995 and is a member of the Association of Carolina Shag Clubs. We are dedicated
and operated exclusively for non-profit purposes. Our objective is to promote shagging, beach music, and convivality
among members. Membership in our club is available to anyone 21 years of age and older.
Many of our socials and dances are held at "The Junkyard", also known as
K&C Salvage, Harrisburg, NC. ABC permits are on hand. Various DJ's play music and and we dance on a big, wood
dance floor. Monthly business meetings are held generally the 1st Sunday of each month at "The Junkyard".
